Lawrenceville Family Health Center

Presently, the Lawrenceville Family Health Center has approximately 17,000 annual patient visits. Its case mix is currently 23 percent pediatric and adolescent, 60 percent adult, and 16 percent geriatrics. With a team of 2 Medical Assistants, 5 Registered Nurses, Social Work, and a Pharm D, Family Medicine doctors care for a diverse population that includes many of Pittsburgh’s international refugees.

The Lawrenceville Family Health center partners with numerous community agencies to benefit our patients. We are active in our growing Lawrenceville community through a healthy relationship with Lawrenceville United, a local grassroots community advocacy agency. Additionally, the Lawrenceville site coordinates our home visit program which sees patients every Thursday afternoon.

Facilities include an on-site lab, radiology suite, 2 special procedure rooms, 18 exam rooms, a large central precepting room, and space for group visits. To facilitate medical student and resident training in history taking and patient interviewing, the Lawrenceville center is equipped to videotape encounters. Lastly, we are wireless; providers all use laptops for patient care encounters to maximize the efficiency and flexibility of office space. The Lawrenceville Family Health Center completed extensive renovations in the Fall of 2015.
